How To Fly In Style

It's a style Catch 22: Your airport outfit must provide both comfort and optimum style. It must be comfortable enough to sit in for hours yet polished enough to deplane at your destination ready to hit the ground running. Whether you are a frequent flyer or an occasional jetsetter, we have a few tips to ensure you always travel in style.

DRESS IN COMFORTABLE SHOES

Ballet flats, loafers, a simple pump, or boots that easily slides on and off are all wise yet stylish footwear choices for travel. They also are great for navigating through security checkpoints and for, dare I say, sprinting to the gate if you happen to find yourself pressed for time. BONUS: Remember to pack socks in your carry-on!

LAYERS, LAYERS AND MORE LAYERS

You know what’s worse than being too hot or too cold? Being too hot or too cold while stuck on a plane flying 34,000 feet in the air. Wearing layers is the best way to combat potential temperature woes. Trendy cardigans, leather jackets and cozy sweaters are essential for travel. Scarves and kimonos also provide both style and warmth, kimono blanket anyone?

UP YOUR ACCESSORIES GAME

Nothing spices up a pair black leggingsjoggers, or other wardrobe staples like accessories. The right handbag, bold hat or designer sunglasses will transform any comfy outfit and make it fashion! A rule of thumb is to always travel with at least one statement accessory.

PACK A KIT WITH YOUR IN-FLIGHT MUST-HAVES

An oversized tote is always the way to go for long flights. A tote will allow you to maximize the baggage you’re allowed to bring onboard for free. Stuff your tote with whatever you want on hand during your flight such as a book, tablet, hand sanitizer, chargers, face mist, moisturizer,  and lip balm. If you’re feeling extra lux toss in a sheet mask or under eye mask, you deserve it.
